Ellie

I really enjoyed doing the close up animal study of Mr. Zebra and still working on my "signature" painting style so I present to you Ellie. She is a lovely elephant and I am happy with her appearance on my canvas. Acrylic paint size 15"x30"

Italy

So... I finally finished this painting. It was sitting in the corner of my room mocking me and telling me to finish, I obliged. I'm not sure if I like it or not. Oh well. On the positive side it took me out of my comfort zone. If you don't try something new you'll never learn. Acrylic on canvas 20"x24"

The Raw Experience

Today at 5pm I will be making my debut at an art show next to many talented artists. I am so fortunate to be given this opportunity by a lovely man name Jesse. I will always be grateful to him for this. Here's hoping that this is a doorway to many more showings and wonderful things to come. Cheers life!

In Progress...

Working on another painting. At least I know I will always have a fan in my cat, Sasha. She seems to like it at least.

Junebug

I'd like to start this blog out on an excellent note. Here is my most recent painting that I am truly proud of. I have always been partial to the dry mediums so working with paint has been quite a challenge. After a few failed attempts at finding a painting style I came up with this and I couldn't be happier.

My thanks to my best friend Salamander and his cat Juno.
